The Food We Were Born To Eat

We came across this video and it really sparked our interest. Information and recommendations on nutrition constantly are changing in our media. Dr. John McDougall MD, a board-certified internist has a very interesting perspective on nutrition. He has used his “starch based diet” on his patients with incredible results. We were not born to eat high levels of fat, high levels of protein, or even just kale and spinach. Dr. McDougall suggest that we were born to eat starch. Eating a starch-based diet has reversed many of the chronic diseases that we experience in the western world. Enjoy this TED Talk as it may challenge many of your beliefs of what healthy nutrition is.
